Mike Porter-Ward is a versatile bass player who has covered virtually every musical genre. He is now, however, fully comitted to performing jazz throughout the country. He is available with his either his trio or jazz band in Wiltshire, Salisbury, Swindon, Marlborough, Trowbridge, Chippenham, Devizes, Warminster or any other area of the UK for any wedding, party or event.

Alice possesses an absolutely magical voice - and knows how to use it to it's full potential. Alice's style seems to work well with the larger line ups and is completely at home with a jazz band behind her.

Sheila Daniels (vocals)

Sheila's musical career was already firmly established before being introduced to Mike Porter-Ward and the team. Her influences include Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland and more recently Anita Wardell, Amy Winehouse and Nina Ferro.

Steve Conway (vocals)

Steve's style is mostly based on material from the Rat Pack Era. I must, however, emphasise that Steve is not a tribute act. His vocal style vocal has been forged from his own love of the great vocalists of the past which include: Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Harry Connick Junior. Although Steve has been influenced by these singers - he pocesses his own distinctive and characteristic sound.

Eugene's diverse musical background has enabled him to become a highly skilled and accomplished performer who is much in demand throughout the UK both as a soloist and as an ensemble player. He can provide a type of music that is intricate, exciting, and yet easy to listen to.

Eugene has played at many top London venues such as The Cafe Royal, Quaglinos, The 100 Club, The Royal Festival Hall, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, Jamie's Bar, and Quaglinos.

Dave Trigwell (drums

Dave Trigwell is a well seasoned drummer and has worked in many jazz bands and with many of the big names in jazz. Some of these great jazz musicians include: Ian Carr's, Jango Bates, Leanne Carroll, Gary Potter, Herbie Flowers, Terry Callier and Jim Mullen. He also toured Japan twice and produced CDs on the Polygramme Jazz Label Verve.

Carlos Lopez-Real (sax)

Carlos is a London based saxophonist, composer and teacher. He works predominantly in the jazz field but also enjoys playing in a variety of styles, from 20's jazz through bebop, fusion and free jazz to salsa and dance. In addition to jazz, he's inspired by classical composers such as Debussy, Bartok and John Adams, and classical Indian music.
